About

The Dr. Jon Psaila Memorial Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students who show a commitment to continuing their education in agriculture or animal science.

Founded in 2017, the JPM Foundation began by awarding academic scholarships to Clovis and Medota FFA students (Future Farmers of America) pursuing careers in agriculture. The foundation continues to award these scholarships each spring.

In 2019, the foundation expanded its support with a buckle program and cash award offered at the Big Fresno Fair. This award recognizes junior exhibitors that pursue and find success in two or more areas of project competition (Market Livestock, Breeding Livestock, Market Fur & Feathers, Breeding Fur & Feathers, Junior Exhibits, Ag Mechanics, Junior Horticulture, Crop Production).

In 2020, the foundation will continue its annual academic and buckle awards, in addition to providing two scholarships at the California FFA Sate Leadership Conference.

The foundation has awarded over $10,000 in scholarships and awards to deserving students over the past two years.

Looking forward, the JPM Foundation plans to sponsor veterinary clinics and assist small town animal shelters with daily needs, as these were Dr. Psaila’s philanthropic passions.

If you are interested in helping to support the next generation of incredible young people pursuing careers in Animal and Ag Sciences, please consider making a donation or attending one of our events.

Through our organization’s programs and services, we are determined to have a positive impact in the lives of those who want to pursue higher education in AG and Animal Science and the community as a whole.
